Job Description:

Our client is a well-established Facilities Management Consultancy company based in Melbourne. Recognised as a market leader, their clients include some of Australia’s largest and well-known companies.
Due to ongoing growth and expansion our client has this newly created position for a Building/ Facilities Manager. Delivering high quality service to their client’s, you will work as part of a dynamic and client-oriented team to deliver comprehensive facilities, contracts and administration management. The role is for a site based FM/BM.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Effective management of all contractors on site including performance and ensuring work is carried out to a high standard
  • Ensuring all building procedures are maintained
  • Liaising with the client and service providers
  • Providing guidance and advice on annual expenditure and budgets
  • Maintaining up to date documentation and compliance

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this position:
  • Have previous Building Management and/Facilities Management experience and demonstrate the following:
  • Professional presentation with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Building Management or similar role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Knowledge of working with CMMS Systems
  • Proactive and able to work autonomously or within a team
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
