Our client is a manufacturing company located at Coopers Plains. Continued growth has created this opportunity for a full-time Team Leader in their Cushion Box department.
In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating activity in manufacturing and the warehouse.

Duties will include:

• Establishing and maintaining a safe workplace with high housekeeping standards to assist the efficiency of the production, inwards goods, warehousing and dispatch departments and to ensure that there is no possibility of any injuries to employees or visitors.
• Manufacturing in accordance with the planning of production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Involvement in the manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications and QA requirements.
• Adhering to production group operations on a daily basis and resolving manufacturing, delivery, quality and other problems to prevent operational delays.
• Liaising and working in conjunction with the Factory Manager regarding staff matters, production reporting, procurement of equipment, compliance and overall operations
• Operating the stores and dispatch areas for efficient cost-effective warehousing of product at optimum inventory levels and the dispatch of product to customers on time.
• Ensuring all conduct of the operations group is in line with current Company policies and procedures and all relevant State and Federal legislation.
