Our client is one of Sydney’s premier Commercial Flooring companies with a reputation for delivering excellence to their clients in both product and service.
The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for predominately the set-up, supervision and completion of commercial flooring projects mainly in the Sydney metro region with the occasional project north or south of Sydney.

The main responsibilities and duties in this position will include but not limited to:
 

• The set-up of sites for the commencement of projects
• Supervision of sub-contractors throughout the project
• Coordination of suppliers and deliveries to sites
• Flooring installation when required (estimated 30% of the position)
• Liaising with contractors, builders and suppliers as required
• Ensuring sites are tidy and safe throughout project
• The clean up of sites at the completion of projects
• Stock control/ management

To be considered for this position:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the flooring industry “on the tools” such as being an installer (can come from either commercial or residential background)
• Experience in coordinating flooring installation projects
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional customer relationship skills
• Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Effectively prioritise workload
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, installers and sub-contractors
• Warehouse management, stock control experience and a valid forklift ticket beneficial
• White Card
• Valid Driver’s License
