Our client is a facility management consultancy which specialises in Facility Management and Workplace Operations Strategy, FM Implementation, Building Mobilisation, Tender Specification Writing, FM Optimisation and other related services.
 
Their highly skilled resources provide clients with tailored, superior quality facility management and workplace solutions, helping clients to realise cost and service level benefits and deliver genuine value for money, best in class, outcomes. Their strategic approach is geared to achieve results which are aligned with each individual client’s unique property portfolio, workplace strategies, and broader business plan.
 
Our client are recognised as market leaders in innovation and the delivery of industry best practise facility and property management service solutions, which is why their clients not only include major corporates such as Westpac, Medibank and Origin Energy, but also real estate companies such as Cushman & Wakefield and Thiess Services.
 
Due to their continuing growth our client require a Tier 1 Application Support Technician with the goal of moving the successful candidate into a Tier 2 role.

Day to day tasks will include:
  • Providing technical support for all software services provided
  • Advanced application support, including client installation, database integration and reporting writing for the software programs developed and sold by the company
  • Manage the conversion of data from clients into company databases utilising SQL queries and provided utilities
  • Document support processes

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this position:

Must have experience:
  • Database design and SQL scripting (Microsoft SQL Server) with an expectation
    to build unique queries and manipulate data from many sources
Highly Desired:
  • Report writing experience
Desired experience:
  • Product Knowledge - Understands features and benefits of applications.
  • Communicates knowledge of operations effectively and efficiently
  • Customer Focus and Satisfaction - Anticipates and responds to customers. Ensures customer expectations are realistic, established and satisfied. Perpetuates the company culture and customer satisfaction philosophy
  • Technical Skills - Ability to troubleshoot and analysis complex technical problems
  • General networking knowledge
  • Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems, inclusive of Terminal Services and Office
